Since 2016, Ciucaş, an Ursus brand, has been supporting the Foundation Conservation Carpathia in its effort to protect the forests found in the Făgăraș Mountains, natural habitat for stags, deer and other wild animals.

In partnership with the WWF, between 2013 and 2016, Ursus supported a programme to protect wildlife by financing the only existing bear sanctuary in Europe, in the Hășmaș Mountains, Romania.
As well as Ciucas’ support, other companies have made contributions supporting the sanctuary.
