This report was presented at the General Assembly of Cerveceros de España, March 2019.
With this pledge, Cerveceros de España has joined the different international initiatives aimed to improve climate and energy performance, such as: the European Climate Strategy, the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, the Paris Agreement, and the transition to a circular economy. It will be achieved through the implementation of measures that promote compliance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The report is structured in five key areas: packaging, energy, carbon footprint, water and environmental awareness. Each of these areas contains several goals that brewers have committed to achieving by 2025.
